Psychological Committee Training Activity

In order to further promote Anqing Foreign Language School's mental health education and enhance students' ability to support each other mentally, on September 22nd, the Moral Education Department of the East District of Anqing Foreign Language School held a training activity for student mental health committee members with the theme of "Radiant Hearts, Meeting You and Me". The full-time psychological teacher Zhao Yu was in charge of this training.

To begin with, the training focused on the role positioning and job responsibilities of the psychological committee members, which clarified that the psychological committee members should assume four roles: role model, messenger, deminer, and supporter. Also, not only should they set a good example for their own physical and mental health, but also actively promote mental health knowledge, and promptly identify and report psychological crisis phenomena among their classmates.

What's more, at the practical level, the training emphasized that the psychological committee members should follow the four major working principles of confidentiality, communication, reporting, and limitation. Meanwhile, they should be meticulous in their thinking, enthusiastic and patient, good at listening, sincere and responsible, and honest and trustworthy. More remarkably, they need to protect themselves and distinguish their own capabilities.

In summary, this training has enabled the psychological committee members of each class to further clarify their own responsibilities and work directions, laying a solid foundation for creating a positive, upward, healthy and harmonious campus psychological atmosphere. More noticeably, the Junior High School Department will continue to pay attention to students' mental health, allowing each "angel of the soul" to not only warm their peers but also illuminate their own path of growth.
